Three APC Leaders in Kogi State Pass Away

Three prominent members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi


State have passed away. They are Hon. Onojah James Ignatius, Hon. Jatto Onimisi Suleiman, and Alhaji Alih Atabo.

The Kogi State Government confirmed their d+aths in a statement released by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Kingsley Fanwo, in Lokoja on Monday, January 12, 2025.

Fanwo described the trio as dedicated public servants who contributed significantly to the state and the party. He noted that Onojah James Ignatius was a seasoned grassroots mobiliser and administrator passionate about community development and good governance. Jatto Onimisi Suleiman was commended for his humility, diligence, and commitment to serving the people, while Alhaji Alih Atabo was recognized as a devoted party stalwart who advanced APC’s growth and unity at the ward level.

The commissioner conveyed Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s heartfelt condolences, as well as those of the state government and people, to the families, friends, associates, and the entire APC community. He also extended sympathy to the people of Igalamela, Okene, Dekina, and others impacted by their service, praising the lasting legacies of dedication and sacrifice left by the three leaders.
